You don't actually need to go out - The Vineyard House has every amenity you could need, including free wifi. This is the place for resting and getting away from it all.
This is a special place to celebrate special occasions. More stylish than the average holiday let, it is ideal for that special birthday, a wedding party, a civil partnership or a once in a lifetime family occasion. We can also arrange catering on request, subject to the availability of our cook. Our caterer will work with you to produce beautiful menus for anything from cocktail parties to dinner. We can also provide a travel cost or organize groceries, if arranged in advance. Newspapers can be delivered.
And if you have an idea for something else, we will do our best to arrange it – whether it is a local artist providing watercolour classes or baking lessons from our in-house cook.
Or just enjoy the place – in all its glory, luxury and comfort: play tennis, watch movies in the cinema, the piano, cook lovely meals in, have barbecues in the summer or cuddle cosily in front of the log burning fire. Or just breathe in the fresh air of the beautiful and peaceful countryside.
To make your stay even more comfortable, guests are provided with a starter pack of kindling and logs, and a luxury welcome pack including a bottle of the local award winning Chapel Down sparkling wine made from grapes grown in the field next door which some experts say is better than champagne.
