How to get to The Vineyard House
Car
Halfway between the historic Cinque Ports of Tenterden and Rye (both five miles away), The Vineyard House is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Wittersham.
We can be easily accessed from London as well as the continent via junction 10 of the M20.
From the Blackwall tunnel the barn is about one hour and fifteen minutes. It is 66 miles from Central London.
Rail
There are train services from St Pancras International (38 minutes), Lille and Paris (2 hours) to Ashford Interational.
From there you can take a 25 minute taxi ride (approximately £30) or take a 20 minute pretty Marsh line train across Romney Marsh to Rye, just five miles away from The Vineyard House. There are regular bus services from Tenterden and Rye to Wittersham (and back) on weekdays.

- Come off the M20 motorway at junction 10
- Take the exit signposted to Brenzett and International Station (A2070)
- At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted to Brenzett and International Station (A2070)
- Exit left, signposted Brenzett, Lydd Airport
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted to Brenzett (A2070)
- At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted to Hastings, Rye (A259)
- Enter Rye, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit signposted Tenterden (A268)
- Come out of Rye, enter Playden and turn right onto Iden Road (B2082)
- Follow this road through Iden approximately 4 miles
- Budds Lane is a small turning on your left, if you get into Wittersham village you've gone too far!
